I really liked this. Thanks for sharing.
Truly beautiful. I am married but my wife and I both find it important to spend time alone; not a ton, but enough to realize how much we enjoy each other’s company. So much of what you said are things that I, too, find to be so rewarding in my time alone.
sometimes even when you’re with someone, you’re alone. it’s a good thing to practice to remember who you are. the big scary world out there sometimes sucks you in so fast you don’t have a chance to remember that you are special.
we spend a lot of time telling our kids how special they are, but we forget to tell ourselves. that’s one of the nice things about having grown up kids – at least my grown up kids….they tell me that i’m special. puts a double wide size smile on my face and in my heart.
Thank you. I needed this.
